From delivering healthy babies to healthy mothers, annual health screenings, cervical cancer prevention, routine and high-risk obstetrics, hysterectomy, menopausal problems and everything in between, Dr. Bell takes pride in offering each patient individualized attention and treatment and is dedicated to providing for each patient’s unique healthcare needs.
Dr. Bell and his wife, Mandy, are fairly new to Libby. The couple, who formerly resided in Glasgow, Montana, both grew up in small towns and believe in the values of small-town living, with its interdependence with others, a true feeling of community and sense of belonging, low crime rate and the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.
“We believe that Libby possesses these values and has a clear need for the services I provide,” says Dr. Bell. “Combine that with the surrounding mountains, forest, rivers, lakes and outdoor recreation opportunities, Libby has everything we’re looking for in a home.”
At Dr. Bell’s office, patients will find a staff that is small and personal. In addition to Dr. Bell, Jen Nelson-Roby, CMA, and Melissa Cady, receptionist, help in nurturing the individualized care for each and every one of their patients.
March 30, 2017, marks two years in practice in Libby for Dr. Bell. “For over 25 years, I have had the privilege and honor of working with women of all ages to maintain and improve their health,” he said. “While many women rarely have health issues requiring intervention, it’s gratifying to be able to help those that do. Whether this involves medical treatment or surgery, I take pride in being able to provide these services in a local, rural setting. Finally, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a couple through pregnancy and delivery a healthy baby to a healthy mom.”

When not in the office, Dr. Bell, who is an accomplished musician, enjoys providing music for his church and the community. He also enjoys acting with the Kootenai Kharacters acting company. He and his wife have raised three daughters, Morgan, Erin and Devyn, who are now grown.
