We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, if you’re looking for a delicious way to start your day while supporting local students, then you won’t want to miss the annual Huckleberry Pancake Breakfasts!

The annual Huckleberry Pancake Breakfasts, held monthly, kick off on Saturday, May 28. Presented by Bonners Ferry EAA Chapter 757 at Boundary County Airport’s Northern Air hangar, west of the terminal/office, the event will continue the last Saturday of each month through September. Those in the community are invited to bring their families and gather with friends, and spend a morning socializing while enjoying a scrumptious meal. “Our menu will be the same as in the past; huckleberry pancakes, sausage patties, scrambled eggs—all graciously donated by Chuck at 3 Mile Café!” says Don Jordan, EAA Chapter 757 president.

The suggested donation for breakfast is $8 (all you can eat). All proceeds from the event go to scholarships for student pilot training. “In the past year, we have given scholarships to five local student pilots,” shares Don. He adds that “all are advancing well through their training!”

Mark your calendars for this season’s breakfasts: May 28, June 25, July 30, August 27 and September 24. Each breakfast will be offered from 8 to 10am.

EAA Chapter 757 is a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders and pilots who come together to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community ... and have a lot of fun while doing so. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6pm at the Northern Air fbo, 64601 Highway 2 in Bonners Ferry (unless otherwise noted).
