Bonners Ferry’s Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist

Both born and raised in New Mexico, surrounded by magnificent sunsets and beautiful mountains, Kaite Gorman and her husband Ryan relocated to Bonners Ferry in 2019 for a peaceful and family friendly place for their children to grow up. With Ryan’s passion for rural medicine, they opened and operate the local Urgent Care, and Kaite has built a successful real estate business, Idaho Dream Houses, brokered by Kelly Right Real Estate.
Both Kaite and Ryan enjoy the small-town love and care the residents and business owners offer, as both get to interact with the community a lot — Ryan as a nurse practitioner who cares for his patients, Kaite as a real estate agent. “We’ve both seen the generosity and genuineness of the people of this town and are reminded constantly of what a blessing it has been to live here,” Kaite shares.
Kaite first fell in love with real estate as a young girl. “My mom used to take my sisters and I on long drives through our rural town, and we’d look at all the different types of houses for sale,” Kaite reflects. “She wasn’t an agent but was in love with homes long before shows like ‘Fixer Upper’ made that kind of thing popular.”
In college, Kaite found herself attending the Home Builders’ Expo, where local contractors would open up their new builds to the public. “I’ve always loved seeing new houses, the dreams that people bring into them. It wasn’t until my husband and I bought our first home, however, that I realized how much I loved the transactional side of real estate as well,” Kaite recalls. “Running my own business has always been my dream. Real estate was the perfect blend of having my own business and being able to help people achieve their dreams of home ownership.”
Primarily serving Bonners Ferry, Kaite is one of two agents in the area who is licensed in both Idaho and Montana — the only agent with an office in Bonners Ferry who is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. “My clients will tell you that I do not skimp on marketing,” Kaite says. “Given my business background, I know the importance of good marketing, be that photography, video, social media. I use a professional real estate photographer every time, and I pride myself on having the best marketing around.”
When not busy serving others, Kaite and Ryan stay busy with their three children, “two of whom are twin boys — they keep me very busy,” Kaite smiles. And a fourth baby on the way, due in January. “Part of the reason I chose the career I did is the flexibility to put my family first,” she explains. “I love being able to take my kids to work with me, show them my passion, but also be able to take the afternoon off and pack a picnic, go to the lake, and enjoy the incredible area we live.”
