Hiking Adventures

Enchanted Forest (0.9- to 2.1-mile trails), 322 Hoot Owl Rd., Bonners Ferry 

Section 16 (2.5- to 5.4-mile loops), 1099 Kootenai Trail Rd., Bonners Ferry

Clifty Peak (4.4 miles), Clifty Mountain, District 15 Rd., Bonners Ferry

 

Boundary County has 1,268.7 square miles of land that are packed full of fun and exciting hiking trails and eye-popping views, and an organization dedicated to keeping the trails and recreational area of this county well-maintained is 9B Trails.

9B Trails is a nonprofit organization that helped create the Enchanted Forest and Section 16 trails, as well as numerous other projects. Learn more about this inspiring group of people — and all the trail projects they are working on — at 9BTrails.org.
